ceramic art gallery | supplies | studio In This Issue Summer Pottery Class Summer Kids Class Register for a Summer Pottery Class!      Dave Hicks, Cluster Glaze Fundamentals and Experimentation with David Hicks Monday Evening class :  6:00-8:30pm  June 17 - July 15, 2013 (5 weeks) Fee: $125 Do you feel like you don't know much about glazing and want to know more about it? This glaze course will help you understand basic glaze mixing and testing. You will need to prepare your test bisque ware (small cups and test tiles in the clay you normally use) outside of the class time. Hand-building Class: Ceramic Sculpture with David Hicks Monday Afternoon class:  2:30 - 5:00pm June 17 - July 15, 2013 (5 weeks) Fee: $125 Wheel-throwing Class with Craig Easter (all levels are welcome) Craig Easter, Platter Short Session:  Tuesday & Thursday Evening class :  6:00-8:30pm  July 16 - August 8, 2013 (4 weeks) Fee: $195 To Register or More info   Summer Kids Class  Cupcakes created by students   Join the fun this summer for a week-long clay class. Students will learn in a small group with individualized instruction. This is the SJCGA annual members spring show
featuring local artists selling a
 variety of pottery, blown and fused glass. 
This is an opportunity to meet the makers and learn about their techniques. Included are functional and sculptural work for your home and garden, as well as jewelry, just in time for mother's day.
Come early for best selection!
Plenty of free parking. 

4th Annual SJCGA Demo Day 2013 at Clay Mix

For the fourth year Clay Mix studio will be hosting the SJCGA Demo Day. This is a Free event open to the public. Potluck lunch. Please bring a dish to share.

11:30 - 12:30  Amy Morgan  clay hands on and discussion of Ed Thompson's work

    12:30 finishing up projects while we have pot luck lunch

2:15 for finishing Barries projects and cleanup

At the end of the demos about 2:30 there will be a  SJCGA members meeting to go over new bylaws for club.  We really need to have voices heard .
